We’ll add in visits to race shops and speed shops; wining-and-dining in remarkable places; memberships and mementos; plus a few unscheduled extras --- doors usually closed to ordinary race fans have a way of swinging open for Trip To America guests.

And all our guests who book before 1st September will automatically be entered into our Special Prize Draw to win a day at the races with Don Schumacher Racing, the largest Pro team in NHRA Drag Racing.

Countdown To The Championship is NHRA’s exciting new, playoff-style format for 2007.
In each Pro class, the championship will go right to the line in a 2-race shootout on two of NHRA’s outstanding, record-setting tracks --- the spectacular Strip At Las Vegas Motor Speedway and historic Auto Club Raceway At Pomona.

Controversial? Certainly --- but a thrilling climax to the POWERade Drag Racing Series is guaranteed. As they say, NHRA will sell you the whole seat but you’ll only need the edge.

The ACDelco Las Vegas Nationals and Pomona’s Auto Club Finals are already two of the biggest races of the year. With Countdown To The Championship, they’ve just got even bigger.

Guests booking before 1st September 2007 will be entered automatically. Two draws will be made, one for Las Vegas, one for Pomona. California Hot Rod Reunion
In 1992, NHRA decided to celebrate its heritage with a grand reunion of hot rodders and drag racers at Bakersfield’s venerable Famoso Raceway. It was only a one-off occasion, they thought, but 16 years on, it has become a giant cultural ‘happening’, one of the most eagerly awaited fixtures on the calendar. Hosted by NHRA’s Wally Parks Motorsports Museum, the Reunion brings racing & rodding history vibrantly to life, with car shows, swap meets, social events and a full programme of ‘nostalgia’ racing on the track. Catch those classic nitro-burning, front-motored fuelers in action --- sights and sounds you’ll never forget!
